1.Agreement to these terms
These Terms of Service are an agreement between you and Platter Catering Inc. They apply whenever you use cateringplatter.com or the Platter Catering mobile app, place an order, book an event, or join a group or corporate plan. By using the Services you accept these terms, our Privacy Policy, and our Refund & Cancellation Policy.
2.Your account
- You must be at least 18 years old and able to enter into a contract.
- The information you give us must be accurate and kept up to date, and your email address must be verified before you can check out.
- You are responsible for keeping your password confidential and for everything done through your account.
- If you order on behalf of a company, you confirm that you are authorised to do so.
- We may suspend or close an account that is used fraudulently, abusively, or in breach of these terms.
3.Orders, events and weekly plans
- An order or booking is a request until we confirm it. We may decline or cancel a request, for example if an item is unavailable, the address is outside our delivery area, or the date cannot be served.
- Menus, portion sizes and photographs are illustrative. Ingredients may vary by season and availability, and we may substitute an item of equal or greater value.
- Event bookings are subject to the minimum guest counts, service hours, and buffet or service fees shown when you book.
- Corporate Weekly Plans run on the days the organiser selects. Each member's choice for a day must be made before that day's cut-off: 6:00 AM for breakfast and 11:00 AM for lunch, Pacific Time. Choices not made in time may not be fulfilled.
- Join codes give access to a shared plan or order. Share them only with the people you intend to include.
4.Prices and payment
- Prices are shown in US dollars. Applicable taxes, delivery charges and service fees are shown before you pay.
- Payment is taken by card through Square at the time shown at checkout. By submitting a payment you confirm you are authorised to use the card.
- The price that applies is the price shown when you place the order or booking; later price changes do not affect confirmed orders.
- If we make an obvious pricing error, we may cancel the affected order and refund you in full.
5.Delivery
We deliver within the service area shown at checkout. Delivery times are estimates and can be affected by traffic, weather and access to the venue. Someone must be available to receive the order at the address and time you chose. If we cannot complete delivery because the address or contact details were wrong or nobody was available, the order may be treated as delivered.
6.Allergens and food safety
Our food is prepared in kitchens that handle milk, eggs, fish, shellfish, tree nuts, peanuts, wheat, soy and sesame. We take care with the dietary notes you give us, but we cannot guarantee that any item is completely free of an allergen. If you or your guests have a severe allergy, contact us before ordering.
Food should be eaten promptly after delivery and kept at a safe temperature. We are not responsible for food that is stored, reheated or served contrary to our guidance after it has been delivered.
7.Cancellations and refunds
Changes, cancellations and refunds are covered by our Refund & Cancellation Policy, which forms part of these terms.
